| Helen K. Beacham |

| Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Helen Beacham moved to Memphis, TN in 1981. In 2006, she and her husband, Ray, moved to beautiful, historic Summerville, SC where she maintains her Studio. Helen is Past President of the Memphis/Germantown Art League and the current Vice President of the Charleston Artist Guild. In addition she’s an active member of the National Watercolor Society, the Summerville Artist Guild and the Charleston Outdoor Painters Association. Helen teaches drawing & watercolor to children and adults, hoping to transfer her love of art to others who are eager to explore it. While living in Memphis, Helen taught art to the children of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. She says “I wanted to give the children something to think about other than the doctors or their next treatment. It put a smile on their faces and left me happy as a result.” Beacham’s work is prized and owned by corporate and private collectors in the United States, Canada and abroad. She has taken workshops with Katherine Chang Liu, Dick Phillips, Milton Zornes, Brent Funderburk and many other well respected artists.
