An early interest in art led Yvonne to select art education as her profession.  She earned her
undergraduate degree from North Carolina A & T State University and her masters from UNCG
Greensboro.  After a fulfilling career as a visual arts teacher in North Carolina with the
Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System, she is now retired and living in award-winning artist with
the Charleston and Summerville artist's guilds.  She works in the media dictated by her subjects.  
Her work can be found in public and private collections internationally.
